# Cooking Tips:

01 -
  • You can whip this up in just 10 minutes when that boba craving hits without spending $7 at a specialty shop.
  • The sweetened condensed milk creates the most luxurious silky texture that makes store-bought versions pale in comparison.
02 -
  • The texture of your tapioca pearls matters tremendously - undercook them and theyre unpleasantly hard, overcook them and they turn to mush.
  • Making the tea stronger than you normally would ensures the flavor doesnt get lost once diluted with milk and ice.
03 -
  • Warm your sweetened condensed milk can in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes before measuring to help it pour more easily and incorporate better.
  • Keep your cooked tapioca pearls in a bit of the cooking water or simple syrup if not using immediately to prevent them from sticking together into one giant mass.
