# What You Need:

→ Proteins

01 - 1.1 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cooked and diced

→ Vegetables

02 - 10 oz broccoli florets, steamed
03 - 1 small onion, finely chopped
04 - 2 garlic cloves, minced

→ Dairy

05 - ½ cup heavy cream
06 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
07 - ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
08 - ¼ cup cream cheese, softened

→ Pantry

09 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
10 - ½ teaspoon paprika
11 - ½ teaspoon dried thyme
12 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
13 - ½ teaspoon salt

# How To Make:

01 - Set oven to 375°F and allow to reach temperature.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, approximately 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, steamed broccoli, sautéed onion and garlic mixture, heavy cream, cream cheese, half of the cheddar cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until sauce is smooth and all ingredients are evenly distributed.
04 - Pour mixture into a lightly greased 8x8-inch casserole dish, spreading evenly.
05 - Sprinkle remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the surface.
06 - Bake for 25-30 minutes until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown on top.
07 - Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

# Cooking Tips:

01 -
  • It tastes indulgent enough to feel like you're cheating, but your macros stay perfectly aligned.
  • Real people with busy lives actually have time to make this on a weeknight without stress.
  • Leftovers taste even better the next day when the flavors have had time to settle together.
02 -
  • Don't skip softening that cream cheese or you'll end up with little lumps throughout the casserole instead of a smooth sauce.
  • If your casserole looks done on top but you suspect the inside is still cold, cover it with foil and add five more minutes—better safe than ending up with a partially warm dinner.
03 -
  • Cook your chicken fresh that same day rather than using old rotisserie chicken; the flavor difference is noticeable and the texture stays better in the casserole.
  • Don't be timid with the seasoning—casseroles need bold flavors since everything gets diluted by the cream and cheese, so taste and adjust before it goes in the oven.
