Starbucks Cold Foam (Printable Version)

Smooth, creamy cold foam crafted with heavy cream and vanilla syrup for iced beverages.

# What You Need:

→ Cold Foam

01 - 1/3 cup cold heavy cream
02 - 2 tbsp cold 2% milk
03 - 1 tbsp vanilla syrup (store-bought or homemade)

# How To Make:

01 - Add the heavy cream, milk, and vanilla syrup to a tall, narrow glass or a milk frother.
02 - Using a handheld milk frother, electric whisk, or by shaking vigorously in a tightly sealed jar, whip the mixture for 30 to 60 seconds until it becomes thick, smooth, and doubles in volume.
03 - Gently spoon the cold foam over iced coffee or cold brew and serve immediately.

# Cooking Tips:

01 -
  • You will feel like you have a coffee shop in your kitchen without spending seven dollars a drink
  • The texture transforms ordinary iced coffee into something that feels like an event
02 -
  • Cold ingredients are absolutely critical because warm cream will not hold air no matter how long you whip it
  • The foam starts losing texture after about five minutes so make it right before you plan to drink
03 -
  • Chill your glass in the freezer for five minutes before adding the coffee and foam for maximum temperature contrast
  • Sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt on top of the foam to bring out the vanilla flavor
