# What You Need:
→ Hot Chocolate
01 - 2 cups whole milk
02 - 1/2 cup heavy cream
03 - 3.5 oz bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
04 - 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
05 - 2 tbsp granulated sugar
06 - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
07 - Pinch of salt
→ Marshmallow Bar
08 - 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
09 - 1 tbsp unsalted butter
10 - 1/2 cup crisp rice cereal
# How To Make:
01 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine whole milk and heavy cream. Heat until steaming but avoid boiling.
02 - Whisk in finely chopped bittersweet chocolate, unsweetened cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. Continue whisking until the chocolate completely melts and the mixture is uniform.
03 - Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Maintain the mixture warm for serving.
04 - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt unsalted butter. Add mini marshmallows and microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between bursts until fully melted.
05 - Stir in crisp rice cereal until evenly coated. Press the mixture into a small dish lined with parchment paper, creating a 1/2-inch thick layer. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then cut into individual bars.
06 - Pour the hot chocolate into mugs and top each with a marshmallow bar. Allow bars to float and soften slightly before serving.
